Day 41 - Another set-back

Grim - am down with the flu - runny nose, sore throat, achy all over. Real bummer as I was just getting back on track after last week's wrist sprain. Not pleased in the slightest that I can't do my exercises - hope it's not going to set me back too much. All in, I've probably lapsed abt 7 days in total now...yikes!

But staying faithful to the diet though, well as much as I possibly can. Still find it tough to scarf down the before-bed vege snack. Am giving it a miss every other night. Again, my bad.

So with 49 days to go, I know I have to or rather, I would really like to give it my all once this latest set-back is done. There, it's in print now so got to be done.

Incidentally, I haven't stooped to any indulgence just yet - that has got to count for something, no?

  1. Yes, that must definitely count for something Elaine. Very sorry to hear that you have the flu as a summer flu is always the worst possible. Hope that your body is strong enough to fight it off quickly and that you can get back on track so that you can feel good about what you are doing. But don't push your body too early otherwise it may not recover as well as it can and you will just prolong it.
